(...) Brno’s jekyll & Hyde is a furious show where one scenic effect follows another. One extraordinary addition to the production is the set design by Christoph Weyers, who frames the story in a silhouette of London. But then a wall with a mirror effect comes into play or a transparent panel with a human brain. The Brno Musical Stage is demonstrating after a long time what modern technology can do. Weyers often uses movable bridges and platforms while at other times the scene rises from the depths of the stage. His scenic projections also create a special effect. (...)
